My name is Mason Marcobello. I’m a Sydney based bilingual writer, traveler, designer, and storyteller who spends my life folded between the pages of books. In the absence of human relationships I create and form bonds with paper characters.
Throughout the past few years I’ve played the bagpipes for competitions in New Zealand and Canada, crashed movie sets in New York, slept in tree-houses built by circus performers in New Orleans, have been awarded scholarships to study Mandarin in Taiwan and China along with exhibiting past artwork throughout America, Singapore, London, Melbourne and Sydney Australia. I have also represented Australia in the 15th annual Chinese Bridge Competition and am a recipient of the 2012 Ian Potter Cultural Trust Grant, the 2014 Taiwan HES Scholarship, and the 2016 Confucius Institute Scholarship.
I have written and translated for diverse array of clients inclusive to August Magazine, PassionPassport, and revered entrepreneur, angel investor and New York Times best-selling author Gary Vaynerchuk. I am also the cofounder of ""thetravellersway""; a rapidly growing Instagram account focused on travel and have collaborated with China Southern Airlines for the 2017 #ExploreGuangZhou Campaign.
Through understanding that both transparency and trust are two of the most crucial factors for any successful collaboration, I welcome anyone interested in reaching out to send me a message here: firstname.lastname@example.org
